BA21 was hired to redesign the JABA (Jefferson Area Board for Aging) website in the summer 2008. Innovative Internet was handling the content management system and BA21 was brought on for front-end design. We held 3 great discovery meetings with JABA's management team which guided our Information Architecture.
This is the home screen we developed the new site. We enjoyed working with the folks from JABA and our partner in the project.

Dwell General Contracting is a full service construction firm in Charlottesville, Virgnia.
Dwell needed a new logo and website to match their ever-growing list of clients. The new logo is a modern, refreshed take on their previous identity. The bright bold stance was chosen to reflect both the work and personality of the firm.
The accompanying site is built on Wordpress, which allows the owners to manage the site on their own. Multiple plugins were used to extend the functionality of Wordpress - including Flickr integration and testimonial management.
Custom shortcodes were also developed in Wordpress so that complex slideshows could be dropped into content pages with only a few mouse clicks.

A sweetcron sweetcron. Aggregating content about lifestreaming software - Sweetcron - from a number of sources.
As an initial experiment with sweetcron, I set up sweetcron² to gather photos, tweets, posts and video all related to the lifestreaming software itself. As silly as it sounds, I learned a lot about sweetcron and use the site regularly to check up on new developments.

Museum Theme is another boxy theme for microblogging service, Tumblr.
Building on my earlier Silo theme, Museum includes a 'more' link which accommodates longer content without breaking the design. It also creatively crops large images using CSS, allowing them to be viewed in full on permalink pages.
